Ahrefs dan Semrush bagus tapi expensive untuk solo/small team. Untuk niche B2B yang kecil, data-nya sering tidak cukup granular. Metode manual dengan Google + AI tool gratis bisa lebih akurat untuk niche specific.

5 metode

  1. Competitor SERP audit. Search 20-50 query relevan, catat halaman yang rank. Mana yang kamu tidak punya.
  2. 'People also ask' mining. Scan PAA boxes di 20 query. Question yang repeat = topik prioritas.
  3. Reddit / Quora mining. Search niche di forum. Pertanyaan yang unanswered atau discussed = gap.
  4. AI-assisted brainstorm. Prompt ChatGPT: 'List 50 questions that a [persona] might ask about [topic]'. Curate.
  5. Customer conversation analysis. Review customer email, sales call. Question they ask = content opportunity.

Competitor SERP audit step-by-step

  1. List 20-50 query relevan dengan business

    Mix: informational, comparison, problem-solving, brand query, product query.

  2. Search satu per satu di incognito

    Google.co.id untuk Indonesia market.

  3. Catat top 5 result untuk tiap query

    URL + title + snippet di spreadsheet.

  4. Categorize query per cluster

    Group yang terkait. Identify cluster yang dominate.

  5. Identify domain rank dominant

    Domain yang muncul di 5+ query = kompetitor primary.

  6. Map domain vs cluster

    Mana cluster yang kamu tidak rank. Itu gap.

  7. Prioritize gap berdasarkan business value

    Bukan semua gap layak closed. Pilih yang business-relevant.

For each question, note:
- Search intent

- Priority (High/Medium/Low based on buying signal)

Format as markdown table.

Output processing

  • Dedupe questions yang similar.Merge ke satu.
  • Validate dengan Google Suggest.Ketik question di Google, lihat autocomplete. Kalau muncul = real search.
  • Verify dengan Google Trends.Untuk keyword primary dari question.
